"account": "Square Enix has pushed back the release of Final Fantasy XIV Evercold expansion from late January to February, according to producer Naoki Yoshida at the Fan Fest Tokyo event. The MMO's expansion will now launch with early access on February 19, followed by the full launch on February 23. Pre-orders for the expansion open on November 4. Yoshida explained the delay was due to the team needing extra time to ensure the quality of the expansion's features. Evercold introduces an open progression system for main story quests, an auto-balance adjustment system for enemy level and duty difficulty, and changes FFXIV's progression from daily to weekly for greater player flexibility. Additionally, the expansion adds an Evolved battle style aimed at streamlining combat. The team is still working on optimizing Evolved mode for all non-Evercold jobs and role actions. Pre-orders for Evercold begin on November 4, and users must have an active subscription, pre-order the expansion, and register the pre-order bonus code to access the early access launch.",
