"summary": "The Osun Masterminds, a civil society organisation based in Osun State, have called on the state government to shift focus from political activities to effective governance, particularly in areas such as infrastructure, employment, healthcare, and grassroots development. In their October 2026 State of the State address, the group highlighted several challenges, including inadequate school infrastructure, shortages of drugs and personnel in primary healthcare centres, rising youth unemployment, and restrictions on local government administration. They also expressed concern over security issues, particularly kidnappings along major interstate routes, and demanded accountability and transparency in the management of public resources.",
