"account": "Paul Burke, the CEO and cofounder of Vantory, built a 64-home vacation rental portfolio in Colorado and sold it within two years. After experiencing the hospitality industry firsthand, Burke discovered that it was not the right fit for him. Growing up as the youngest of eight children, Burke enjoyed a close-knit family environment, and he found that managing the demanding property management business took a toll on his personal life. He decided to found Vantory, an AI startup that streamlines vacation rental operations for property managers, drawing on the experience he gained. Burke's background in derivatives trading and data analysis provided him with a competitive edge in setting rental prices, but he acknowledged that his lack of technical skills in property maintenance posed a challenge. Managing a portfolio of vacation rentals required intense focus and dedication, often at the expense of personal well-being. Despite the challenges, Burke remains committed to helping vacation rental operators through Vantory's innovative solutions.",
