"account": "Eighteen Taiwanese nationals, aged between 19 and 43, were arrested in a police raid in Taiwan on Thursday, suspected of running an online scam by posing as Hong Kong police officers, according to police reports. The Chief of Police, Dang Wangi Ahmad Azwan Amin Nordin, stated that 17 men and one woman were detained in two luxury apartments, along with 69 mobile phones, five luxury computers, and two stolen Hong Kong police uniforms. The items found suggest the gang was involved in deception by posing as Hong Kong police officers to lure victims from Taiwan, according to a statement from Bernama. Initial investigations revealed that the gang had been operating for about five months using local internet capabilities. All suspects were arrested within four days, beginning on November 2, to assist the investigation under Section 420/511 of the Penal Code. The public is urged to contact Dang Wangi at 03-2600 2222 or the nearest police station if they have any information related to the case.",
