"account": "This week proved to be a busy one for Apple, with several Mac updates and a revamped iPad mini joining the mix. The announcements followed closely on the heels of last Friday's iPhone Duo launch, as well as the introduction of other products that are now available or still in pre-order status.\n\nThe MacBook Pro received a major upgrade with the introduction of the OLED XDR Display model, featuring a touchscreen display, a lighter design, and a Dynamic Island instead of a notch. This model, along with the previous MacBook Pro models, is being sold alongside each other, with the PROLED models priced $400 higher than their counterparts despite using the same M5 Pro and M5 Max chip options.\n\nThe 14-inch MacBook Pro saw an update as well, with an M6 chip that boasts a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU, compared to the previous M5 chip's 10-core CPU and GPU. The new model also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 connectivity, as well as the ability to drive dual external 4K displays at up to 165Hz.\n\nThe 24-inch iMac also received a speed bump, moving from the M4 chip to the M6 and adding support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. Along with faster SSD speeds, the new iMac offers a landscape front camera and remains available in the same color options.\n\nLastly, the iPad mini got a redesigned look with an 8.5-inch OLED display and an A20 Pro chip, marking the biggest update for the device. Other features include a thinner and lighter design, IP67-rated water and dust resistance, and Apple's N1 chip with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 support.",
