"summary": "Indian filmmaker Sanjay Gupta has died following a head injury sustained at his Mumbai residence. The Daily Times reports he was 59 years old and was discovered by his family in his bathroom after an incident that apparently occurred late on October 30. The Free Press Journal states that the Versova police have registered an accidental death report and confirmed that no foul play or suspicious circumstances are suspected. While the Daily Times places the incident in the bathroom, The Indian Express reports that Gupta suffered the head injury after falling in his kitchen on Friday night.\n\nThe filmmaker, who was 57 according to The Indian Express, Free Press Journal, and Gulf News, had a career spanning more than three decades as a director, producer, and screenwriter. His work included films such as Kaante, Kaabil, Shootout at Wadala, Ram Shastra, and Zinda. Following his passing, actor Sanjay Dutt expressed his grief on Instagram, describing Gupta as family and pledging to fulfill the filmmaker's dream of making Kaante 2. Other industry figures including Hansal Mehta, Milap Zaveri, Dia Mirza, Celina Jaitly, and Anupam Kher also shared tributes.",
