"summary": "KL police have detained 18 Taiwanese nationals suspected of involvement in an online scam syndicate that impersonated Hong Kong police officers. The arrests were made during a raid on two luxury apartment units in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, with suspects ranging in age from 19 to 43. Police recovered 69 mobile phones, five laptops, and two sets of Hong Kong police uniforms during the operation. The syndicate is believed to have been operating for about five months and used local internet access to target victims in Hong Kong. All suspects have been remanded for four days until November 2 to assist in the investigation under Section 420/511 of the Penal Code. The public is urged to report any information about such activities to the Dang Wangi District Police Headquarters.",
