"account": "The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) collaborated with Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) officers to demolish cannabis plantations in the Siiru community, situated in the Nadowli District of Ghana's Upper West Region. Intelligence from GIS operatives led to the discovery of illicit growing sites near the Black Volta River. The joint team found cannabis crops at varying stages of growth, some already harvested, others nearing completion. Additional searches revealed incomplete structures, homes, and maize fields used for illegal cultivation across the community. Following the destruction of the plants through burning, NACOC officers conducted an educational session with locals about the risks associated with cannabis production and drug misuse. They encouraged residents to assist in the fight against the illegal cultivation and trafficking of narcotics by promptly reporting suspicious activities to the authorities.",
