"account": "Xolani Khumalo, the ActionSA Ekurhuleni mayoral candidate, has pledged to eliminate drugs from the city's streets. During the party's final election campaign rally in Hillbrow, Johannesburg, Khumalo detailed his five pledges should he be elected mayor. He promises to overhaul the Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department, restore service delivery, combat corruption and cadre deployment, and enhance safety across communities. Khumalo declared that he entered politics with the sole purpose of fighting crime, stating, \"I didn’t come to politics to make friends; I came to politics to fight criminals.\" He recounted his personal experiences, having entered drug dens in Ekurhuleni and confronted drug dealers directly, confronting the reality of a broken city. Khumalo firmly stated, \"Ekurhuleni is a crime scene, and as a crime fighter, I am ready to fix it and restore the rule of law!\"",
