"account": "The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee expelled former general secretary Kripa Alva for six years on Saturday over her suspected role in a sting operation targeting Congress leaders. The decision followed a show-cause notice, which she did not respond to, according to KPCC vice-president M Narayanaswamy. The expulsion came amid a police probe into a video allegedly targeting former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who accused Alva of involvement. Bengaluru police stated the allegations of sexual abuse in the video were false and fabricated, with evidence not supporting the claims. The investigation is determining the video's authenticity and provenance, which was uploaded via anonymous channels. The order cited Alva's alleged anti-party activities as the reason for the six-year ban, which took effect immediately.",
