"account": "Chief of Staff to Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Enyinnaya Onuegbu, has criticized former governor Rochas Okorocha for his absence from crucial meetings and events preceding the APC primary in Imo state. Onuegbu stated that Okorocha was absent from all significant gatherings and failed to attend any reconciliation meetings. He claimed that Okorocha only surfaced when it came to sharing the results of a process he had not taken part in, and this behavior was unacceptable. Uzodimma's Chief of Staff further accused Okorocha of distorting facts, questioning how he could address members of the APC as an aspirant without being physically present at most of the events leading up to the primary. The law requires oral evidence from witnesses, he pointed out, and Okorocha was not present at most of the key events. Despite attempts by Governor Uzodimma to reach out to Okorocha and other aggrieved leaders, they refused to respond to his calls. Onuegbu added that the APC in Imo is united and prepared for the election, despite the controversy surrounding Okorocha's actions. It should be noted that the Federal High Court in Abuja had previously rejected Uzodimma's candidacy for the Imo West Senatorial contest, declaring Okorocha the winner.",
