"summary": "The New Straits Times reports that police conducted a raid on a mini casino operating from a hotel penthouse on Jalan Ampang in Kuala Lumpur, arresting 16 foreigners. The operation, named Op Tembok, took place around 1:50am, with the suspects detained during the raid. The arrested individuals included 14 Chinese men, a Chinese woman, and a Nepalese man, aged between 26 and 50. The mini casino was found to have been operating as a poker game, with invitations extended to close acquaintances. The suspects were found with various gambling equipment, including a gambling table, chairs, dice, cards, and chips, as well as RM1,000 in cash. Investigations are ongoing under multiple laws, including the Common Gaming Houses Act 1953, Penal Code, and Immigration Act 1959/63. The suspects will be brought before a magistrate for remand. The police urge the public to avoid illegal gambling and to report any information on such activities to the Kuala Lumpur police hotline or their local police station.",
