"account": "Kenya and Russia have agreed to establish an Intergovernmental Kenya-Russia Commission on Economic Cooperation, aiming to deepen their bilateral economic ties. The proposed agreement, discussed during a meeting between Kenya's Prime Cabinet Secretary and Foreign Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, and Russia's Minister of Economic Development, Maxim Reshetnikov, will serve as an institutional mechanism for promoting economic collaboration between the two nations. The Commission will be co-chaired by representatives from Kenya and Russia, with Mudavadi stating that the agreement reflects the shared commitment of the two countries to translate diplomatic relations into tangible economic benefits. The initiative builds on Kenya's longstanding cordial relations with Russia, offering opportunities for market access, investment attraction, and new areas of cooperation that support Kenya's economic transformation agenda.
