"account": "At the 2026 Daytime Emmys, held at the Hollywood Palladium, Kelly Clarkson's show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, emerged victorious with the Outstanding Daytime Talk Series award. However, Clarkson herself did not take home an award, as Sherri Shepherd was awarded Outstanding Talk Series Host for her work on Sherri.\n\nDespite the loss in this category, Clarkson's winning streak continued, as she had also won Outstanding Talk Series Host in six of the show's seven seasons. In her career, Clarkson has secured a total of nine Daytime Emmys, including five in the talk series category and four for talk series host.\n\nIn other categories, Ray Chew won Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for a Daytime Program for his work on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Keke Palmer made history by winning her first Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Daytime Short Form Program as producer of Glam Through the Ages. Tracee Ellis Ross made her Emmy debut by winning Outstanding Travel and Adventure Program for Solo Traveling With Tracee Ellis Ross.\n\nOff Script With The Hollywood Reporter claimed victory in Outstanding Arts and Popular Culture Program, beating out competing shows from Variety and CNN. Star Jones claimed her first Daytime Emmy of a 35-year career for Outstanding Daytime Personality for her role in Divorce Court.\n\nGeneral Hospital continued its winning streak by taking home Outstanding Daytime Drama Series for the sixth consecutive year. Genie Francis, who has played Laura Spencer on General Hospital for 50 years, was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Anthony Geary, co-star of the Luke & Laura storyline, passed away in December 2025 and was remembered in the In Memoriam segment.",
