"account": "Roger Howarth and Beth Maitland of \"The Young and the Restless\" secured victories in the supporting acting categories at the 53rd annual Daytime Emmys, marking their wins decades after their initial triumphs. Howarth, who plays Matt Clark on the CBS soap, first won in 1994 for his breakout role as Todd Manning on \"One Life to Live.\" Maitland, who originated the role of Traci Abbott in 1982, has played the part off and on since then. Maitland expressed her surprise and gratitude, honoring her fellow nominees and emphasizing the role daytime television plays in providing brief respite from a chaotic world.",
