"account": "Toronto police are searching for three masked men who broke into a wealthy homeowner's mansion and attacked the occupants, officials said. The suspects, believed to be in their 20s, forced their way through a back entrance at around 3:40 a.m. armed with guns and a hammer, according to Toronto Police Service Inspector Kristy Smith. The victims, 75-year-old David Morton, his wife Doriana, and their daughters Maggie and Cristina, were all confronted on the second floor and threatened to take valuables. The family fought back when the intruders fired shots, resulting in all four being wounded, including Morton and his two adult daughters who were hospitalized with gunshot wounds. The suspects fled the scene in an SUV, leaving behind a traumatized family and raising concerns about home security. The incident occurred in the same neighborhood where rapper Drake's home was targeted multiple times in May 2024, with one of Drake's security guards also injured in a shooting outside the property. Toronto has seen a 32.2% increase in home invasions this year, with 119 incidents reported thus far.",
