"account": "Welterweight Islam Makhachev has provided insight into his upcoming UFC timeline and addressed the interim title fight between Carlos Prates and Michael Morales. UFC 333 recently concluded, with Alexander Volkanovski and Peter Yan delivering impressive victories. The UFC also announced UFC 336, which includes the co-main event featuring Prates and Morales for the interim welterweight title. This fight will determine who faces Makhachev for the undisputed title.\n\nMakhachev, who fought two months ago at UFC 330 in August, has been criticized for his inconsistent timeline. He initially stated he wanted to fight before Ramadan, but now plans to wait until after the month-long Islamic holy period. The inconsistency in his schedule has drawn criticism from fans and analysts alike.\n\nIn a recent interview on X, Makhachev defended his decision, stating that the two fighters fighting for the interim title are not deserving of a shot at his undisputed title. Prates has won his last three fights, with two of those victories coming against former champions. Morales recently defeated Sean Brady, who was then ranked No. 1. However, Makhachev acknowledged that he could have faced both contenders, with Prates potentially fighting in January and Morales in October or November.\n\nMakhachev has three fights left at most, according to his recent statements. He previously set a UFC record with the longest winning streak in promotion history, marking his 17th consecutive victory. Makhachev has expressed his desire to break his own record, aiming for at least 20 wins.",
