"account": "The Museum of Modern Art in New York, Centre Pompidou in Paris, and M+ in Hong Kong have announced a novel alliance that will grant unprecedented access to each museum's holdings. This collaboration, signed on the eve of M+'s fifth anniversary, aims to increase viewership, foster collaborative curation, and enhance research opportunities.\n\nThe agreement comes in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, as museums seek to reduce overhead costs amid major financial deficits. The Met recently announced a merger with Ronald Lauder's Neue Galerie, set to commence in 2028.\n\nM+ Museum Director Suhanya Raffel emphasized the importance of museums evolving to reflect the complexity of our world. The alliance follows previous collaborations, including a memorandum of understanding between M+ and MoMA in 2025, and a strategic partnership with Centre Pompidou in early 2025. The partnership between M+ and Centre Pompidou seeks to strengthen cultural dialogue between Asia and Europe through joint exhibitions, collections sharing, and a funded fellowship.",
