"account": "Erin Patterson, convicted for fatally poisoning her former in-laws, may seek a High Court challenge following her recent conviction increase. However, legal experts suggest her chances are slim. Patterson, currently incarcerated at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, learned on Saturday that her convictions for murder and attempted murder would not be overturned, but her sentence was extended to life without parole. The Court of Appeal's decision to eliminate her parole period was unprecedented. If she decides to proceed, Patterson will have 28 days to file an application for special leave to appeal to the High Court of Australia. Nonetheless, experts predict her case will likely be denied, as the High Court typically only intervenes when a decision significantly impacts national law or human rights. The case is particularly noteworthy due to Patterson's high-profile status - only the second woman in Australia to receive a life sentence without parole.",
