"account": "In the tense race for the Nellore Mayoral position, both the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) are vying for victory. The NDA candidates have secured eight out of the 72 wards, while the remaining seats are up for grabs with nearly 217 candidates, including independents, contesting the polls.\n\nYSRCP candidate Anam Vijayakumar Reddy spoke to The Hindu, expressing her commitment to uphold the rules and regulations of the NMC, pledging to address the people's concerns rather than bowing to the wishes of the Alliance leaders. MLC Parvathareddy Chandrashekhar Reddy, on the other hand, urged voters to cast their ballots for the 'fan' symbol, urging them to elect Anam Vijaya Kumar Reddy as Mayor with a significant lead.\n\nMeanwhile, Alliance candidate P. Roop Kumar Yadav sought votes to enhance development and welfare-oriented governance in the state. He highlighted Nellore's transformation under the leadership of MA&UD Minister Ponguru Narayana and assured the completion of underground drainage works by the end of June 2027. He also promised mosquito-free streets and dredging of open canals, as well as the construction of retaining walls across them. MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy appealed to the public to ensure the triumph of Alliance candidates, with the aim of turning the 'double-engine' government into a 'triple-engine' one.",
