"account": "In a somber week for Star Trek royalty, the passing of Walter Koenig, who played Lt. Pavel Chekov in the original series, has deeply saddened franchise icons William Shatner and George Takei. Both stars took to social media to express their heartfelt condolences and share cherished memories of their friendship with Koenig. Shatner, 95, and Takei, 89, were the last remaining members of the original U.S.S. Enterprise crew, and they worked together in six films as well as the later seasons of the show. Koenig, who passed away at the age of 90, was known for his genuine love for the Star Trek community and his willingness to connect with fans at conventions. Takei, who co-starred with Koenig on two seasons of The Original Series, remembered their friendship that lasted nearly six decades, including attending his wedding in 2008. The actor expressed his gratitude to fans for their support and shared that Koenig was more than just Chekov, but also a writer, teacher, thoughtful man, and loyal friend.",
