"summary": "Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy intercepted two tankers in the southern waters of the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, after they attempted to pass through an unauthorized route. According to the IRGC Navy, one vessel was intercepted in the eastern part of the strait, while the other was intercepted in the western part. Both vessels had allegedly switched off their navigation and positioning systems, and ignored several radio warnings. The IRGC Navy accused the US military of supporting the attempted passage, and blamed hostile US actions, along with the vessels' disregard for Iranian regulations, for the incidents and subsequent fires aboard the ships. Additionally, the IRGC Navy reported that another vessel caught fire in the southern waters of the strait on Thursday night, and subsequently sank.",
