"account": "Manchester United’s academy gem, Jariyah Shah, has been called up to the first-team training ahead of their match against Chelsea. The club’s manager, Michael Carrick, is currently juggling several challenges. The season began with him facing obstacles due to the club’s hierarchy not addressing multiple problem positions. Additionally, injuries to players Luke Shaw and Benjamin Sesko have further complicated his selection process. Recent tensions within the dressing room, notably from Lisandro Martinez and Bruno Fernandes, have added to Carrick’s difficulties. Fernandes was even left out of a match against Bournemouth for publicly questioning Carrick’s tactics. To improve his situation, Carrick must prioritize creating a positive atmosphere at Carrington. One method to achieve this is by introducing fresh talent into the training sessions. According to the Standard, Jariyah Shah has been granted access to the senior squad’s training ahead of the Chelsea match. The 17-year-old talent, born in Canberra, Australia, joined Manchester United from Doncaster Rovers in 2023. Shah, an Australia U17 international, signed a scholarship and made his debut for the club’s U18s in February of the same year. He has since become a regular in the U18 Premier League, scoring two goals in eight appearances. While midfield remains his primary position, Shah has also played as a right-back at the youth level. Currently, only Shea Lacey has accumulated significant playing time as an academy player under Carrick. However, if the senior players continue to underperform, academy players like Shah may soon receive their first-team opportunities.",
