"summary": "South Korea's education ministry plans to file criminal complaints against students caught using smart glasses to cheat on national university entrance exams. According to Malay Mail and Free Malaysia Today, these devices allow wearers to interact with AI assistants and take photos and videos. While smart glass sales are increasing globally, there is a growing backlash regarding their use for cheating and concerns about filming people without consent.\n\nEducation ministry official Lee Joon-hyuk told AFP that the government intends to toughen penalties for such cheating. Under proposed plans, students caught using smart glasses would be barred from retaking exams for three years, an increase from the current one-year penalty.\n\nLee noted that because there are only about 20 days remaining until next month's college entrance tests, it would be difficult to amend the law in time for this session. The ministry plans to push for these changes to take effect starting with next year's exams.",
