"summary": "South Korea's education ministry plans to file criminal complaints against students caught using smart glasses to cheat on the national university entrance exam, known as the Suneung. According to Lee Joon-hyuk, an education ministry official, the ministry will seek these criminal charges in the future.\n\nAs reported by Malay Mail and Free Malaysia Today, authorities intend to toughen penalties for using the devices. Under the new plans, students caught cheating with smart glasses would be barred from retaking their exams for three years, an increase from the current one-year penalty.\n\nThese changes are unlikely to apply to the upcoming college entrance tests next month because it would be difficult to amend the law with only about 20 days remaining before the exam. Lee stated that the government plans to push for the changes to take effect starting with next year's exam.",
