"account": "The judging panel for the Miss South Africa 2026 competition has been announced, featuring distinguished individuals from various fields including law, television, medicine, and business. The panel includes Professor Thuli Madonsela, former Public Protector and law professor; Miss South Africa 2023 Natasha Vermaak, a medical doctor and television personality; Dr Musa Mthombeni, a medical doctor and media figure; and Pumla Molope, president of African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA). The finale is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, where 12 finalists will vie for the coveted title. Madonsela brings extensive experience in public service, constitutional law, and advocacy to the panel, while Vermaak returns to the Miss South Africa stage with a focus on entrepreneurship and television presenting. Mthombeni combines medical expertise with his media presence, and Molope, president of AWCA, contributes perspectives from the chartered accountancy profession. Television personality Lawrence Maleka and former Miss South Africa Jo-Ann Strauss will host the main show, bringing their backgrounds in broadcasting, business, and public speaking. The musical lineup features a diverse range of performances, including the Ndlovu Youth Choir, Amapiano acts by Young Stunna and Hoodsenseii, singer-songwriter Zee Nxumalo, JAZZWRLD, and the Mzansi National Philharmonic Orchestra. The creative theme of the competition, \"From Imbokodo to Diamond,\" highlights the strength, resilience, and leadership of South African women, drawing inspiration from the symbolism of Imbokodo and the enduring value of a diamond. The competition, which combines fashion, music, African heritage, and storytelling, culminates in a competition for one of South Africa's most prestigious titles, with the reigning Miss South Africa, Qhawekazi Mazaleni, passing her crown on to the winner of the evening.",
