"account": "Veteran broadcaster Kgomotso \"KG\" Moeketsi will launch her podcast \"Between Us\" in November 2026, following her departure from SAfm. The podcast, set to feature hosts Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh, Lungelo KM, and Sipho Alphi Mkhwanazi, will be produced by Moeketsi's daughter, Dineo Langa, and her husband, Zothile \"Solo\" Langa. Moeketsi's exit from SAfm came after a two-year contract was terminated on July 15, 2026. She alleges that tensions arose from a 30 May WhatsApp exchange with a listener, which escalated to technical issues and her suspension. Moeketsi disputes the fairness of the termination process and claims that the SABC failed to adhere to due process provisions in her contract, as well as withholding payment for at least one show. She has launched a BackaBuddy campaign to fund a High Court challenge against the SABC, with donations reaching approximately R4,300 by mid-August. The podcast, produced by her family, represents a new chapter in Moeketsi's career, moving away from her SAfm role to create independent content.",
