"summary": "West Australian speedway driver Dustin Gary Higgs has been sentenced to four years and three months in jail for grooming and raping a 15-year-old girl. The court found that Higgs developed a friendship with the victim through their shared interest in speedway, which escalated into sexual contact in January 2022. Judge Gary Massey emphasized the importance of protecting vulnerable children from predators and imposed a permanent violence restraining order on Higgs, prohibiting him from contacting the victim or coming within 50 meters of her workplace or school. The judge also noted that Higgs required lifelong immunotherapy treatment for a rare kidney disorder, but emphasized that prison would still be the most suitable environment for his medical needs.",
