"account": "Erling Haaland is aiming for yet another Premier League Golden Boot this season after claiming the award three times in his previous four campaigns. The Norwegian striker, now under new manager Enzo Maresca at Manchester City, has scored a record 36 goals in the 2022-23 season and has consistently topped the scoring charts since. However, Haaland faces stiff competition from other players vying for the top spot.\n\nMo Salah, the four-time Golden Boot winner, is no longer at Liverpool, leaving Haaland's path seemingly clearer. Thiago, who had a stellar first season at Brentford, is another strong contender after finishing second in the Golden Boot race last year with 22 goals. Thiago will need to stay fit and get regular playing time under new manager Andoni Iraola to challenge Haaland.\n\nJoao Pedro, who scored 15 Premier League goals for Chelsea last season, is another player to keep an eye on. He will be hoping to build on that performance with his new club, Brentford, after joining from Brighton. Xabi Alonso's leadership and the addition of Danny Welbeck to the forward line could also impact Joao Pedro's chances of capturing the Golden Boot.\n\nOther notable contenders include Phil Foden, who scored 28 goals in 2022-23, and Curtis Jones, who netted 23 goals last season at Brentford. Kepa Arrizabalaga, the Manchester City goalkeeper, scored 19 goals in the 2020-21 season, but it is unlikely he will challenge for the Golden Boot this year. The Golden Boot has become increasingly challenging to win, as scoring 23 or more goals has been the norm in recent years, with most winners being strikers or center-forwards.",
