"account": "BANGI, Oct 30 — The possibility of maintaining Petronas as the principal sponsor of MotoGP in the future is set to be discussed with Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik Tengku Aziz, the president and Group chief executive officer of Petronas. This comes after a meeting with MotoGP executive director Carmelo Ezpeleta, who expressed optimism that Petronas would continue its involvement in the renowned motorcycle racing championship. Ezpeleta revealed that Petronas would be their final year as an organizer, but in other nations, their national oil company or local businesses often take on this role.\n\nEzpeleta desires to connect Malaysia's identity with Petronas and MotoGP. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi acknowledged this during his discussion with Ezpeleta. After the meeting, Zahid stated that he would speak with Tan Sri Taufik to deliberate on the matter. While admitting that sponsorship expenses could be considerable, he proposed that various alternative strategies could be considered to guarantee Petronas' ongoing role as MotoGP's primary organizer and sponsor in the forthcoming years.",
