"account": "On October 4th, Victoria residents reported a barred owl attack on a popular walking path in Beacon Hill Park. The incident involved the same individual being targeted twice within a span of three days, prompting the City of Victoria to issue a public warning. According to the city, owl attacks are typically a result of adult birds establishing their territory or protecting existing space. In response to the repeated attacks, the city has installed signs along the affected pedestrian and bike walkway, which will be removed once the aggressive behavior subsides. The Canadian Wildlife Federation confirms that barred owls, characterized by their round heads and lack of ear tufts, inhabit British Columbia and extend into the central Prairies.",
