"account": "MUNICH: Bayern Munich avoided fatigue before a busy fixture schedule by resting their Ballon d'Or winner Harry Kane during a convincing 6-1 victory over second-tier Magdeburg in the German Cup second round on Wednesday. On Monday, Kane claimed the prestigious individual award for the first time as an English player since Michael Owen in 2001, prompting the club to manage his workload ahead of a demanding schedule of domestic and European matches. Michael Olise netted twice, followed by goals from Ismael Saibari, Alphonso Davies, and Nathaniel Brown within three minutes to put Bayern ahead. With coach Vincent Kompany unable to manage due to a training session collapse the previous week, assistant coach Aaron Danks stood in for the second match in a row. Magdeburg briefly equalised and hit the post just before halftime, but Bayern's superior pace proved too much for the visitors after the break. Teenager David Santos-Daiber sealed the win with a late goal in stoppage time. The Bundesliga title contenders now look set to face arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund in the Klassiker on Saturday, before traveling to Spain to take on Atletico Madrid in the Champions League next week.",
