"account": "During the 2021 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits, Brandel Chamblee expressed his astonishment at the pairing of Rory McIlroy with Ian Poulter for the opening session. This combination was particularly surprising to Chamblee, who had previously noted that Poulter had not been in top form in recent Ryder Cups. McIlroy, known for his exceptional putting skills, had never experienced two defeats in a single day at the Ryder Cup before. This marked the first time in his Ryder Cup career that McIlroy faced two losses in one day. The incident led to an unprecedented event at Whistling Straits, with McIlroy choosing to sit out a session for the first time in his career. McIlroy's participation in the afternoon foursomes match was not enough to secure a win for Europe, as the American duo of Dustin Johnson and Collin Morikawa emerged victorious. Despite his struggles in the match, McIlroy did go on to defeat Xander Schauffele in the singles. Poulter, on the other hand, managed to extend his unbeaten streak in singles matches to seven games by defeating Tony Finau.",
"summary": "Brandel Chamblee admitted his disbelief at seeing Rory McIlroy paired with Ian Poulter for the opening session of the 2021 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits. The 2021 Ryder Cup is one that many European fans would not mind being able to forget.",
