"account": "Members of the African National Congress Women's League (ANCWL) and clergy from various religious backgrounds gathered for a prayer session in KuGompo City, Eastern Cape. The purpose of the national prayer service held at the Orient Theatre was to promote peace and unity before the upcoming local government elections. ANCWL acting President and Secretary General, Nokuthula Nqaba, urged political parties and their supporters to remain calm during the elections to avoid conflict. She prayed for peace, justice, free and fair elections, tolerance, and stability among the political parties involved. Nqaba emphasized the League's continued support for the party but called for an unconditional apology from ANC National Chairperson Gwede Mantashe regarding his comments on the \"sex-for-jobs\" issue. She requested that everyone show respect, avoid trivializing the pain experienced, and recognize the severity of violations against women and children.",
