"account": "Donald Glover is set to star in, direct, executive produce and write the upcoming Netflix series based on the popular video game \"PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds\" (\"PUBG\"). The game, developed by Krafton, is an early entry in the battle royale subgenre, which is also represented by \"Fortnite.\" Donald's brother, Stephen Glover, will contribute to the project as a writer and executive producer alongside Michael Schaefer, Fam Udeorji, Taeseok Jang and Sujin Lee. While \"PUBG\" lacks a direct story to adapt, successful video game adaptations have been carved out by taking original creative paths. Glover has previously appeared in an animated \"Super Mario\" movie, lending his voice as Yoshi. \"PUBG\" is one of many video game projects currently in development for Netflix, including live-action adaptations of \"Assassin's Creed,\" \"Gears of War,\" and animated shows based on \"Clash of Clans,\" \"Magic: The Gathering,\" and \"Minecraft.\" Other video game adaptations in film and television have found great success in recent years, indicating a promising future for this genre of entertainment.",
