"account": "The Tennessee Titans have made significant strides in their roster rebuilding process, as highlighted by their recent trade of defensive end Jeffery Simmons to the Chicago Bears. In exchange, the Titans acquired a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 first-round pick, and a 2027 fourth-round selection. This move has propelled the Titans forward, as they now hold an additional two first-round picks in the upcoming drafts, with a total of four extra picks in the 2027 and 2028 drafts. Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi acknowledged the team's current record of 1-6, recognizing there have been close games that came down to the wire. He emphasized the importance of making plays and being realistic about the team's position, noting that a three-year window is crucial when considering players under contract. Borgonzi stated that they felt the trade was the best decision for the future, despite the challenge of accelerating the process. Simmons, 29, leaves Nashville after eight seasons with the Titans, accumulating 46.5 sacks (including 4.0 this season) and 72 total tackles for loss across those seasons. He earned four Pro Bowls and made his first First Team AP All-Pro selection in 2025. Notably, he was the first non-specialist First Team AP All-Pro since Derrick Henry in 2020. This trade represents a major shift in the Titans' roster, with Simmons now playing for the Chicago Bears, a team that will benefit from his skills and leadership.",
