"account": "US President Donald Trump branded Brazil's presidential election a \"disgrace\" on Thursday, declining to confirm whether he recognized leftist Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's victory over right-wing contender Flavio Bolsonaro. At a press conference, Trump stated, \"I think the election was a disgrace in Brazil,\" emphasizing his disapproval of the outcome. Bolsonaro, who fled to the United States to begin a self-imposed exile, insisted he is the rightful leader of Brazil despite his defeat in the run-off. The US leader's stance on the matter seemed to have intensified since Wednesday, when he called the election \"very strange\" but refused to get involved in Bolsonaro's claim to the presidency. Bolsonaro's defiance upon his arrival in Florida on Wednesday underscored the ongoing turmoil in Brazil, where Lula won a dramatic runoff election on Sunday.",
