"account": "Former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha hailed a Federal High Court's decision that nullified gubernatorial candidate Hope Uzodimma's recognition as the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Imo West. Okorocha had sued the ruling APC, Uzodimma, and others, arguing that he was the legitimate party candidate for the 2027 general election. The court ruled in Okorocha's favor, ordering the Independent National Electoral Commission to publish his name as the party's candidate. In addition, the judge restrained Uzodimma from portraying himself as the APC senatorial candidate for the January 16, 2027 election. Okorocha praised the court, democracy, and the Nigerian Constitution, expressing gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, the APC leadership, and the people of Imo State for their support.",
