"account": "Kate Martin has decided to leave the Unrivaled league for the 2027 season, according to recent reports. The league and Martin reached a mutual agreement, indicating that her involvement in the 3-on-3 basketball competition series will come to an end.\n\nOne potential reason for her departure is her interest in joining Project B, an alternative offseason women's basketball league that is set to commence in January internationally. The scheduling conflict with Unrivaled could be a contributing factor to her decision.\n\nAnother possibility is that Martin simply desired a break from basketball during the offseason. She played for two different WNBA organizations, the Los Angeles Sparks and the Chicago Sky, in 2026. Additionally, the Golden State Valkyries cut her prior to the season as part of roster adjustments. The exact reason for her absence from Unrivaled remains unclear, but these are the two primary hypotheses.",
