"account": "For students seeking the most budget-friendly MacBook, Apple's offering, the MacBook Neo, has encountered a price hike of $50, as reported by Macworld. The cost of the base model with education pricing is now $649. This price increase marks the second reduction of the discounted education pricing for the MacBook Neo. Initially launched in March at $599, the MacBook Neo held the title of the most affordable MacBook on the market. However, the education pricing truly set it apart. Mashable had noted that Apple's student discount reduced the price by $100, bringing the MacBook Neo down to $499. This highly competitive $499 education pricing, accessible to anyone, likely contributed to the product's success. In May, shortly after the product's debut, Apple ended the loophole that granted the education discount to non-students. In June, Apple raised the prices of numerous products, including the MacBook Neo, which was then priced at $699. Although the education discount remained at $100, the student price was now equal to the previous retail price of $599. Consequently, the base MacBook Neo model now costs $150 more with education pricing compared to its launch almost eight months ago. Despite these price increases, Mashable still believes the MacBook Neo is a worthwhile purchase.",
