"account": "Jake Paul is set to return to boxing on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2025, in Dubai, according to Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), his company. Paul, who has a record of 12-2 with 7 knockouts, last fought against Anthony Joshua in December 2025, resulting in a broken jaw and a knockout loss. Paul underwent several surgeries during his recovery. He announced his upcoming bout with the statement, \"I've spent years proving people wrong, taking risks, and pushing myself against opponents nobody thought I'd face. Nothing that's happened has changed my belief in myself or what I'm working toward. I'm hungrier than ever, and on Thursday, December 24, I'm returning to the ring in Dubai to start the next chapter of my journey.\" Paul's boxing journey began in 2020, with him winning his first six fights before losing to Tommy Fury in 2023. Following a six-fight winning streak, including a victory over Mike Tyson, he suffered the broken jaw loss to Joshua, whom he considered the toughest challenge of his career. MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian stated, \"Jake Paul has spent his career challenging what people think is possible. Twelve months ago he suffered a double broken jaw against a two-time heavyweight world champion and since then many have doubted his desire or need to return to boxing. Well, he is back, and that tells you everything about the competitor Jake Paul is and how much he loves this sport.\" The planned Christmas Eve event will occur just two weeks after Joshua's next fight against Tyson Fury, scheduled for December 11.",
