"account": "Apple has unveiled its first MacBook Pro models with touchscreen capabilities and OLED displays. The new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops join the existing lineup and introduce Dynamic Island, a lighter design, enhanced speakers, and a return of the glowing Apple logo. Both models are powered by Apple’s M5 Pro and M5 Max processors, with prices commencing at $2,899. The most significant upgrade is the new PROLED XDR display, utilizing Tandem OLED technology for improved brightness, image quality, and color accuracy. This display supports up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness and 1,000 nits of sustained brightness, along with variable refresh rates from 10Hz to 120Hz. Users can now interact directly with the screen through touch, although macOS has not been fully redesigned for touch controls. Apple has also retained the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips in the new models, with minor changes to memory, storage, and audio. Pre-orders began on October 28, 2026, and sales started on November 6, 2026.",
