"account": "Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has dismissed claims that he ordered the removal of a private venue for a town hall meeting featuring National Democratic Congress presidential candidate Peter Obi and his running mate Rabiu Kwankwaso in Enugu. In a statement on his X account, Mbah described the allegation as false, asserting that he had no role in the decision to deny the organizers the use of the facility. He criticized the opposition for attempting to gain public attention through the allegation, emphasizing that freedom of expression does not permit defamation. Mbah stated that legal avenues for redress are available and warned against crossing certain boundaries. The controversy arose after the Amadeo Event Centre withdrew as the venue for the town hall meeting, scheduled for October 29, 2026, just 24 hours before the event, despite prior payment.",
