"account": "RIYADH: The Saudi-led coalition combating Yemen's Houthi rebels reported on Thursday that they had successfully intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the group towards the kingdom's Eastern Province. Coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki announced the intercept via his X account. Tensions between Saudi Arabia and the Iran-backed Houthi militia have escalated in recent months, with Riyadh suffering its deadliest strike in years, an assault on the nation's international airport. The Houthi militia claimed responsibility for targeting the oil-rich Eastern Province with a ballistic missile this week. Iran has vehemently denied involvement in Houthi attacks, despite Saudi allegations of Tehran's encouragement of the group's escalation against the kingdom. Following a fragile four-year pause, Yemen's conflict flared up again in July, coinciding with the onset of the US-Iran conflict that has destabilized the broader region.",
