"account": "During the Wednesday episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the comedian took aim at former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and President Donald Trump during his monologue. Kimmel referenced Trump's remarks from a Lubbock, Texas rally, where the president claimed that James Talarico, a senate hopeful, \"loves transgender children.\" He then joked, \"Yeah. Now that is true. That’s what happened to Sarah Palin.\" The studio audience responded with gasps, cheers, and laughter at Kimmel's unexpected dig. Kimmel doubled down, quipping, \"She was Timmy Palin. The doctors got hold of her and they made her a Sarah. And their parents didn’t even know.\" He then asked the crowd if they believed Trump's anti-transgender rhetoric, prompting another round of applause from the audience. Kimmel continued to criticize Trump's comments, calling them \"lies\" that had become \"ridiculous and relentless.\" He also accused Trump of racism for repeatedly calling Michigan senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed \"Muhammad\" while suggesting he may be a terrorist. Representatives for Palin and the White House did not immediately respond to TheWrap's request for comment.",
