"account": "The Puteri Gunung Ledang Musical will grace Singapore's Esplanade Theatre with four performances from April 9 to 11, 2027, as part of Esplanade's Pesta Raya, Malay Festival of Arts. This revival marks more than two decades since the original production debuted in 2006. Composed by Singaporean Dick Lee, the musical draws from the Malay legend of Princess Ledang, whose forbidden romance with warrior Hang Tuah forms its core narrative.\n\nDirected by Malaysian actress and producer Tiara Jacquelina, who co-created the original version and played the titular role in both the 2004 film and 2006 stage production, the 2027 adaptation stars Aisha Retno and Mila Mohsin as Gusti Puteri Retno Dumilah, alternating as the princess. Mimifly and Nadia Aqilah will assume the part of Bayan, her companion and protector, while Aqasha takes on the role of Hang Tuah. Aqasha previously appeared in the 2006 staging as Bendahara and served as the show's understudy for Hang Tuah.\n\nTicket prices range from S$55 to S$175, with a S$250 VIP package offering a meet-and-greet session with the cast. Priority booking for Esplanade&Me members opens on November 4 at 3pm, followed by general public ticket sales on November 11 at 10am. Additional details and ticketing information can be found on Esplanade's official website.",
