"account": "XREAL unveiled its new AURA smart glasses, priced at a limited launch price of $1099. Though this price is high, the technology isn't intended for average consumers, but rather for early adopters eager to experience Android XR on a new device. These glasses can be purchased directly from XREAL or through Best Buy.\n\nAndroid XR debuted a year ago, yet few products have emerged. Samsung's Galaxy XR, the most notable example, vanished without much fanfare. A new platform requires time to develop and mature; thus, we shouldn't expect groundbreaking features right away. Nevertheless, XREAL's AURA smart glasses are now available for purchase.\n\nThe AURA base model starts at $1,279, featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. A more powerful variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is available for $1,499. XREAL offers substantial discounts, reducing the base model price by $180 and the top-end variant by $200. While still pricey, these discounts are more affordable than full price.\n\nSmart glasses offer an alternative for content consumption, allowing users to view digital information without being completely surrounded by it. They are lightweight, portable, and highly powerful. The XREAL AURA consists of two components: the glasses with displays and a puck containing computing hardware and battery. Built-in speakers and touch controls on the arms keep the device light and comfortable. Some users may find the puck's touch controls helpful for making adjustments without moving their hands.\n\nRunning Android XR, the AURA provides a familiar yet innovative experience. Gemini, integrated into the device, enhances interactions for a seamless user experience. However, the device's effectiveness depends on individual preferences and usage. While not for everyone, the AURA is an intriguing option worth considering. Shop now while these discounted glasses are available.",
