"account": "The Xreal Aura, spatial computing smart glasses powered by Google's Android XR platform, are now available for pre-order. Early adopters can receive the glasses in mid-November, a press release revealed. The Aura combines features of both augmented and virtual reality in a pair of wired smart glasses, making it the first of its kind to run on Android XR.\n\nPre-orders for the Aura, priced at $1,279, can save customers $180. Co-founder and CEO Chi Xu expressed pride in the new product, stating, \"Xreal Aura is finally here, and we're so proud to unlock new ways for people to work, watch, play, and build.\" The Aura utilizes dual Sony Micro-OLED displays with a 70-degree field of view, up to 1,050 nits of brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate.\n\nThe glasses support productivity, immersive entertainment, and next-generation XR experiences. They offer spatial computing capabilities powered by Android XR and Qualcomm's Snapdragon Reality Elite Platform. Unlike most AR glasses, the Aura can be controlled via voice and hand movements due to onboard sensors and cameras.\n\nThe Aura comes with a puck that houses the battery and provides most of the necessary compute power for spatial computing. It connects to users' smartphones, laptops, or gaming devices via a puck, unlike headsets that limit users' movements and block their peripheral vision. The Aura also supports Gemini, allowing users to ask questions about their environment or complete tasks across apps.\n\nWith the Aura, users can view their photos and videos in immersive ways, explore destinations in 3D using Google Maps, and enjoy 360-degree and VR180 video content on YouTube. The glasses will also have access to a library of over 150 XR experiences at launch, with more to be added in the future. Preorders for the Xreal Aura are now available exclusively on the Xreal website.",
