"account": "Recent reports have surfaced indicating that certain Pixel Watch owners are experiencing a significant decrease in battery life, ranging from 20% to nearly a complete loss of power every few hours. Developers have noted that new software updates can place additional strain on device batteries, potentially accounting for the increased drain observed in some Pixel Watch users. Within the online community, multiple Reddit users have taken to the platform to voice their concerns, with some posts receiving over 60 comments and numerous individuals reporting the same issue. One user noted that their Pixel Watch 2 lasted only 12 hours on a full charge, drastically below the typical 48-hour battery life when the Always-On Display is disabled. Another user claimed their Pixel Watch 4 now lasts less than a day, down from an average of 2.5 days. This drastic reduction in battery life is highly unusual and warrants further investigation. While sporadic comments echo similar experiences, many Pixel Watch users have not noticed any change in their battery performance. The timing of the issue is inconsistent, with some users reporting the problem started a few days after the September 2026 software update, which introduced \"Gemini Personalization,\" a feature designed to offer personalized responses by analyzing past conversations and data from apps like Gmail or Calendar. It's also possible that the battery drain could be linked to the recent Google Health update, which automatically tracks user activity. However, Google has not yet officially addressed this issue for affected users.
