"account": "Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley disclosed that the NFL compelled him to sell his equity stake in Polymarket due to league regulations prohibiting players from investing in or endorsing gambling or prediction-market companies. Barkley, speaking to Front Office Sports, stated that any engagement with prediction markets is now prohibited by the NFL. He expressed that he had previously been involved but deemed it \"no bueno.\" The NFL shares partnerships with the NBA, Major League Baseball, NHL, and MLS, which all have agreements with either Kalshi or Polymarket or both. Notably, NBA star LeBron James, who earns a reported $15 million annually as a paid endorser for Polymarket, recently appeared in a promotional video alongside celebrities like Derek Jeter, Eli Manning, and Sue Bird. Prediction markets facilitate trading based on the outcome of future events, with sports-related inquiries being a significant portion of the trade volume across various platforms.",
